Why Should I Tour Israel With The Tzemach Institute?
We often get asked the question, "Why should I tour Israel with you," or "What makes your tour of Israel different from other Church tours?" Actually, there is a significant difference. We have diligently sought out people of faith in the land of Israel and found that there are a substantial number of faithful Jews. The population of Israel stands at around six million citizens. In the communities of Judea and Samaria there is a population of around four hundred thousand. These citizens (nearly ten percent of the total population) represent huge faith because the land they live in was not a part of Israel prior to the Six-Day War in 1967. This territory was considered (by the nations) to be part of the nation of Jordan and was given into the hands of Israel (by God) in the Six-Day War. The territory was never annexed by the government, and therefore, is called the "occupied west bank" (of Jordan). Biblically this territory represents the majority of land that is biblical Israel. We refer to it as the Arab occupied east bank of Israel.
Most church groups do not go into this area at all and apparently out of fear of terrorism by the violent local Arabs. This fear (the opposite of faith) robs them of the opportunity to demonstrate Christian faith, and the blessing of supporting faithful Jews. Christian participants are left without witnessing the faithful in the land (a variable that forces a redefinition of previous doctrinal beliefs).
Our trips visit relevant locations throughout all the land. We rent bullet-proof buses when venturing into the more dangerous areas. Come with us and see Jewish faith for yourself.
"We came to these mountains (Samaria) because our forefathers met G-d in this place, and we're not leaving 'til we meet Him here too."
