Sunday (10/28): Leave New York for Tel Aviv, Israel. Monday (10/29): Arrive Ben-Gurion Airport, Tel Aviv. Meet our guide and Sondra Oster Baras, Director of CFOIC-Israel. Walking tour of Jaffa. Dinner and overnight in Tel Aviv. Tuesday (10/30): Visit the Museum of the Diaspora at Tel Aviv University. Here we will study the history of the Jewish people and their four thousand year history (a testament that G-D's promises to Abraham are true). Travel to Caesarea (Acts 10) to the Roman and Crusader ruins. Depart for the Galilee. Visit the fortress at Megiddo overlooking the Jezreel Valley (1 Kings 9:15, Revelation 16:16 the final battle) and study the excavation, its water tunnel, and King Solomon's Stables. We will travel across the Jezreel Valley and climb the ascent to Nazareth. We will visit the ancient well at Nazareth where Jesus would have drawn water as a young man then through Cana to the Upper Galilee region to our accommodations located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Wednesday (10/31): Early morning baptismal service in Sea of Galilee. Boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Visit the biblical sites around the Sea of Galilee. We will pray together on the Mount of Beatitudes and visit the Banias. Then travel north to the Golan Heights. Here we will visit Syrian Bunkers on the Golan and gain an understanding of the significance of this area to the defense of northern Israel. The Golan was given by G-d to Israel in Numbers 21 from the giant Og of Bashan. Travel to Jerusalem through Jordan Valley and visit one of the Jordan Valley communities along the way. We will then make our ascent up the mountain to Jerusalem (Ezekiel 38 says it is the center of the world and the city of The Great King). Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. Thursday (11/01): Full day in Judea to include a visit to ancient Sussya, a restored first century Jewish village, Kiryat Arba / Hebron, including a meeting with community leaders as well as a visit to the Museum of Judea, and an additional community visit in the Southern Hebron hills. Pray at the cave of Machpelah where Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca and Leah-the mothers and fathers of the Jewish people are buried, visit Tel Rumeida and the Tomb of Ruth & Jesse, King David's father. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. Friday (11/02): Gush Etzion -- Sound and light show in Kfar Etzion, Path of the Patriarchs, and a visit in a Gush Etzion community. Return to Jerusalem in time for Shabbat (around 2:00 p.m.). Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. |

Sunday (11/04): We will travel south into the Judean Wilderness to Masada. On our return trip to Jerusalem we will visit the springs at Ein Gedi, swim in the Dead Sea, visit Qumran and have dinner in Genesis Land. Overnight in Jerusalem. Monday (11/05): This day will be spent considering the history of Jerusalem. We will visit sites relevant to modern Israel including Yad Vashem, the Israel Museum with the Dead Sea Scrolls, the model of the Second Temple Era and visit the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, Hezekiah's Wall and the Tower of David Museum. Overnight in Jerusalem. Tuesday (11/06): We will retrace the steps of Messiah Jesus in Jerusalem visiting the Mount Of Olives, Gethsemane, the Antonio Fortress, the Garden Tomb and the new excavations in the City of David. Dinner and overnight in Ariel. Wednesday (11/07): Travel to Beit El, home of Arutz Sheva Radio Station. Beit El (House G-D), is the place Jacob heard G-d speak to him. Jacob called the place "the Gate of Heaven" (Genesis 28:10-22). Travel to Karnei Shomron where we will meet with Sondra Baras, Director of the Israel Office of Christian Friends of Israeli Communities, and coordinator of our community visits throughout Judea and Samaria. Touring with her we will meet residents and leaders of the Settlement Movement. We will continue to our hotel in Ariel. There we will plant vines as the Prophet Jeremiah prophesied that Christians would do in Jeremiah 31:5-6. Thursday (11/08): We will visit Har Bracha (the mount of blessing) and Elon Moreh where Abram built an alter to the L-rd, (Genesis 12:6). The lookout point at Har Kabir gives us a view of how the children of Israel entered the land of Israel and stood on Mount Ebal and Mount Gerizim to recommit themselves to G-d. (Joshua 8). We will then travel to Shiloh, (Joshua 18) site of the Tabernacle in biblical times. Final Tour Dinner with Sondra Baras and our guide and driver in Ariel. Friday (11/09): We leave Samaria for the airport in Tel Aviv and our flight back to the USA. |
