Subject: How did you come to be who you are?

Message: Hi Jim!
Thank you for your prompt response! I am happy, that you observe Shabbat and Biblical Festivals. I am looking for people all over the world, who follow the Biblical principles, including holidays!

Can you please tell me more about your church. Where are you located? How you were established? For how long you are keeping the Shabbat holy and so on. Please tell me everything you can!

Thank you!

Marko :-)

Dear Marko,

Forgive me for not responding sooner but it takes some time to expound.
Nearly 30 years ago (1976) God sent pastor Ken Garrison to Fellowship Church. The church he was then employed by, Friendship Baptist Church of Altamonte Springs, believed that they were getting rid of this young assistant pastor who was pushing the raising of hands in worship. The congregation was and is technically "Baptist" although we have since been thrown out of the Southern Baptist Convention because we have made this Jewish Jesus the Lord of our congregation, and because we fly and Israeli flag and the flag of Jerusalem instead of a Christian flag and an American flag. We are not anti-American, but we are betrothed to the King and have been grafted into the commonwealth of Israel, therefore, we are Israeli. How does anyone marry a king and not become a citizen of his nation?

We do not "beat the bushes" for members, but allow Jesus to bring in who he has chosen. The vast majority of those who attend have had a personal revelation experience with Jesus (Y'shua or Yahoshuah).

It was and continues to be a battle to keep the real Jesus Lord of the congregation. As we have gone along the Lord has graciously revealed truth after truth upon us, all of which is founded in the revelation began through pastor Ken. We feel that G-d began a process of delivering His church out of doctrinal religion with Martin Luther and the protestant reformation, then the Azuza Street revival. We believe that by His grace He has blessed us with the next move in that direction. Our bible institute, which Pastor Ken founded more than two decades ago, is designed to take students through the scriptures, cover-to-cover, and allow the Lord, through the thorough chronological study, to deliver them of all the doctrinal garbage that has been dumped on all of us by nearly 2000 years of doctrinal teaching.

We hide nothing, and all of our web site is designed to address these doctrinal errors.
