The Holy Spirit is the Spirit sent from the Holy One who empowers us as believing disciples of Messiah Jesus to manifest the very personality and power of God (Gifts and Fruit of the Holy Spirit) following the pattern that Jesus set during His earthly ministry as recorded in the gospels.

The Spirit of Messiah (Christ) mentioned by Paul is the Spirit empowering us to believe that we are indeed capable of and called to function as the physical vessel of God in the earth. The Spirit of Christ empowers us to believe that we are instruments of all aspects of Messiah outlined in the Bible pertaining to Israel, the nations, principalities and powers of this present darkness, and individuals of the nations.

I hope this helps you to distinguish between the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of Christ.
