Thank you for your comment. Sorry that this is after the fact. I would like to have a good response for you, but I don't. The reasons identified here are difficult enough to share with "Christians." Usually those who really believe understand the battle and choose to be separated from this event on their own. It obviously is at best a pagan celebration that promotes fear and greed. It really stews me when the ignorant call it a "holiday" since that word really means "holy day," and there is nothing holy about it.
