Message: So will there be one anti-christ or many that will work together in Satan's favor, or will the people whom you speak of be controlled by one main person be it Satan himself?

Dear Terry,
Thank you for your response to the article "Constantine: An Anti-Christ." Sorry it has taken me a while to respond.
It is obviously a rather short article and therefore does not deal with all the intertwining concepts and doctrines.
The word "antichrist" is used very rarely in the scripture and only in the letters of John (I & II). It is also interesting to note that in every case he was speaking about an antichrist "spirit" and never a person. Theologians have assumed that the "man of lawlessness," "son of destruction" or "perdition" spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is the "Anti-Christ," and, therefore, the child of Satan. Surely that individual will function under the influence of many demonic spirits, and surely one of them will be an anti-Christ spirit, but the concept of the child of Satan is just not given to us through the scripture. The concept of a being that is part demon and part human is given to us in the Nephilim (Genesis 6:1-4) and so it is possible. We just don't see multiple witnesses on this in the scripture. We can safely say that there will be a one-world government and that it will be led by a leader who will be filled with an antichrist spirit. More than that at this time is speculative.
