keyboard the same way it reads a typewriter keyboard.
Unlike a person, however, the computer can now turn around
a play multiple instruments/sounds all at the same time.

cubase "Cubase" which is made by the German corporation "Steinberg" is the MIDI program that we use. It will MIDI record and playback, score and edit scoring, live audio record and edit, and features many other sound editing processors. We have always purchased this product with the computer system built for it through YRS MIDI SYSTEMS, INC.

giga Tascam's Gigastudio 96 is the most awesome sound card I have ever heard. On our first album we used the Kurzweil K-2000 as our sound generator. Its technology has recently been dwarfed by the authenticity of sounds produced by this amazing card. It is fussy, however, and does require the helpful hands of experienced technicians in the set up.
