Examining Judge Patrick Collignon in Brussels opened an investigation of Israel’s Prime

Minister Ariel (Arik) Sharon based upon a complaint filed by Lebanese and Palestinian survivors at the Sabra and Shatilla camps in 1982.(1) We understand that this is funded by Palestinian sources, in addition to funds coming from Arafat’s $50 Billion personal financial holdings.(2)

Belgium was selected because under relatively new Belgium law, its courts may prosecute foreigners for human rights abuses. The maximum punishment is life imprisonment.

Let’s Turn The Tables

I will not at this point discuss the motives for this calculated attack against the Prime Minister of Israel which has little basis in fact. Their spurious claim is that "he should have known that the Christian Phalangists Lebanese would try to massacre the Muslim Palestinian/Lebanese for their previous atrocities and massacres conducted by the Palestinians against the Christian Lebanese".

However, this media campaign to try war criminals opens the window for an opportunity to deal with a genuine war criminal, using the same generous conduit provided by the Belgium courts.

Yassir Arafat Is A War Criminal

Yassir Arafat is a war criminal. Yassir Arafat has compiled a record of atrocities which would be the envy of past war criminals. Compile a list in date order from the PLO’s inception in 1964, specifying all those attacks which were ordered by Arafat. From the blowing-up of planes, through thousands of terrorist attacks, ordering the execution of American Ambassador to Sudan, Cleo Noél, charges des affaires George Moore and the Belgium aid, Guy Eid in Khartoum - and much more. I am sure the list of particulars could go on for hundreds of pages. I think the world would be interested in one document which gathered all of Yassir Arafat’s crimes against humanity. This compendium should also include charts showing the connecting linkage to the dozens of terrorist organization world-wide and the nations who funded his Terror. This chart should also document the connections Arafat has with sources of funding from the U.S., Europe and elsewhere.

Arafat compiled a well documented record of war crimes and/or crimes against humanity in Lebanon. There are documents, photographs and numerous witnesses who observed the atrocities committed by the PLO under Arafat’s orders and control. (As a relevant aside, Arafat’s M.O. - Modus Operandi - is again being re-established in the territories handed over to him by the Rabin-Peres Olso Accords. Time Magazine published an in-depth report, describing the creeping Lebanonization of these areas which further proves that Arafat utilizes crimes against humanity, to include his own people, as a method of his control over them.)

During the 12 year Civil War in Lebanon, caused by Yassir Arafat’s assuming power through terror, his terrorists committed mass murder. Whole villages of Christians like Damour were massacred, chopped into pieces with machetes. Out of the 30,000 Christians, 10,000 were slaughtered by Arafat’s PLO. The town was then occupied and kept as Arafat’s stronghold. David Shipler of the New York Times wrote the story of Damour June 21, 1982. There were individual murders. One horrific, but typical, example is when the Muktar (leader) of a village refused to be cooperative with Arafat and his terrorists. The Muktar’s teenage daughter was abducted and raped. Her breasts were cut off and she was delivered to the doorstep of her father in a sack.

In any hospital controlled by Arafat’s terrorists, captured Christians became live blood banks for wounded Palestinians. Israeli soldiers who captured these hospitals found bodies drained of all their blood and stacked, like cordwood, in the hallways.

Arafat’s Terrorists set up their offensive positions and weapons’ depots on the tops of hospitals, schools, nurseries, inside of churches, etc. They recruited 10-12 year old kids, armed them with Rocket Propelled Grenades and used them to stop the Israeli soldiers who were killed because they wouldn’t shoot at these RPG kids. This is again being done today as Arafat provides free terrorist training in children’s summer camps as displayed on Palestinian Authority TV and as shown in the New York Times.

When the Israelis entered Lebanon after countless cross-border terror attacks by Arafat’s PLO, they found huge tunnels, concrete bunkers loaded with weapons and plans for the coming war against Israel. It took hundreds of trucks to decant these mountainous weapons’ stores. Here again Arafat is stockpiling massive quantities of weapons smuggled in from Egypt - with Egyptian help or did Egypt just look the other way.

Trial By Media(3)

The BBC, apparently in some sort of coordination with the plaintiffs of the suit in Belgium, initiated what seems to be a world-wide TV campaign to undermine P.M. Sharon with a program called "Accused" in their ‘Panorama’ segment, in order to set the stage for the trial in Brussels as well as an on-going anti-Israel campaign in the U.N. and the E.U. (European Union). The BBC viciously attacked Sharon with character assassination and misstatement of facts. This appears to be a concerted effort to drive Sharon from office so he is replaced with a more pliable PM in the shape of Barak or Peres or even Avraham Burg.

Of course, we will continue to see the world Media attack, accuse, smear, denigrate, slant their news and commentary to subvert the democratically elected Prime Minister of Israel.

United Nations Resurrects Canard: "Zionism Is Racism"

Apparently, in further coordination with the Belgium court and the BBC media assault, United Nations adds its global weight to the attack. For those who do not believe in government conspiracies, please read "The Resurrection of "Zionism is Racism" under a revised title: "Zionism, a Movement Based on Racial Superiority". (4)

On July 30 a draft document will be presented by the U.N. Conference Preparatory Committee when it convenes in Geneva in advance of their World Conference against Racism August 31 in South African port city of Durban. (Obtained from the Jerusalem Post(4)& paraphrased for brevity):

(In section titled: "Ethnic cleansing, genocide, slavery and similar crimes," reads:

Clause 25: "We affirm that a foreign occupation founded on settlements, its laws based on racial discrimination, to continue domination on the occupied territory, as well as...reinforcing a total military blockade, isolating towns, cities and villages under occupation...a serious violation of international human rights and humanitarian law, a new kind of apartheid, a crime of humanity and a serious threat to international peace and security."

Clause 29: (In a section entitled "Victims of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance," begins: "We salute and acknowledge the memory of all victims of racism and racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance, slavery, and slave trade, colonialism"...and the "ethnic cleansing of the Arab population in historic Palestine."

"The Anti-Semitism International" (5)

Although anti-Semitism is ramping up in Belgium, a suit brought against Yassir Arafat for the hundreds or thousands of terrorist attacks would, nevertheless, force the Belgium courts to hear the case. They would be hard pressed to refuse to hear the case. This would be a rare opportunity to lay out Arafat’s crimes against humanity in a show case trial, similar in gravity to the Nuremberg Trials. Not only would Arafat’s crimes be exposed but, those who aided him and his terrorist network with funds, some acquired by blackmail, would be subpoenaed for their damning testimony.

"No one took any notice of countries like Norway, Belgium, Denmark and Spain until their representatives took Arafat’s side against the policy of the Israeli government. Instead of contributing to the solution, they are adding fuel to the fire by unilaterally supporting the terrorist dictator Arafat - in the poor man’s version of Munich, 1938."

"Have the Belgium authorities, who have just taken on the European presidency, purged themselves of their own real crimes? It will be remembered that Belgians, headed by Leon Degrelle collaborated with the Nazi conquerors in destroying the flourishing Belgium Jewish community. The history books are full of the grave crimes the Belgians committed when they ruled the Congo, when they slaughtered the natives in their avarice for natural resources."

"The Jews are finally closing ranks to fight back against this International of hatred from without and within, against Arafat and his terrorist attacks on Israel, and against Hezb’Allah. The Jews are now sensing the anti-Semitic monster that raised its ugly head in Brussels. International Law Accuses Arafat Of Crimes Against Humanity

International Law under treaties and convention, specifically the laws of war, clearly apply to Arafat’s crimes against humanity. The articles of indictment should include all of Arafat’s offenses since the founding of the PLO in 1964. If the law permits, those nations who funded Arafat, knowing he was committing atrocities should be named as co-conspirators, Eg., Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Libya, Iraq and Iran.

Several survivors of Arafat’s Ma’alot massacre in May 1974 plan to file suit against Arafat in Belgium’s International Crimes Court. Arafat’s Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine first murdered a family of three and then took the school children hostage, later shooting and killing 22 of the kids and injuring another 56. Yeshai Maimon, one of the children who survived the Ma’alot massacre and is bringing this suit, said: "Our Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, is being charged with responsibility for Sabra and Shatilla, while the arch-murderer Arafat is not charged with any of the many murders for which he was directly responsible for over 38 years". The Hague Convention of 1899 and 1907 and the Geneva Conventions of 1929-1949 provide for prosecution, based upon Arafat’s orders to commit egregious crimes against the Jewish people. Similarly, it was the London Charter of August 8, 1948 which provided the basis for the Nuremberg Trials and the subsequent laws enacted from the Nuremberg Hearings which focuses on Hitler’s Final Solution for Jews.

Let us, indeed, dredge up the past. Let us not forget the British who sent a team of SAS to Gibraltar to assassinate several Irish terrorists, which they did, as well as killing several civilians in the process.

Let us recall the British officers present when the Arabs rioted in 1929 in Jerusalem and Hebron. While the British officers and their soldiers benignly looked on, the Arabs massacred the Jews. The officers were in line of sight to the killings but did absolutely nothing until the murderers had finished and blended into the lynch mob of Arabs. Nor did the Brits arrest the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem for giving the "Green Light" to the mobs with his inciteful and false speech that the Jews were killing Muslims on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. The Grand Mufti was Amin al Husseini, the man who went to Hitler during World War II, begging him to come with his killing machines to Palestine to kill the Jews.

The British authorities in London knew about the Grand Mufti as they knew about the lie that started the "unrestrained" riots overseen by the British officers. They could have stopped in a heartbeat but, instead allowed the Arab mob to kill the Jews and drive out others.

Let us not forget how the British Mandate Police watched the Arabs massacred 78 Jewish nurses, doctors and teachers on their way to Hadassah Hospital on Mt. Scopus April 14, 1948 during the Israeli War of Independence. The Jewish nurses and doctors had always treated the Arabs in Palestine before May 1948 and in Israel since the State was born with full equality. This is one of the main reasons why Arabs moved into Palestine (pre-1948) and Israel from all over the Arab world.

Yes, indeed, let us bring to trial a string of British war criminals or the British government itself - even if we have to try them ‘in absentia’. Of course, the British in Government of today seem inclined to allow the Palestinians and other Arab countries to repeat that episode by acting as co-conspirators against the Jewish State.

It is interesting to note that most of these laws evolved out of ancient Jewish origin codified in Deuteronomy. Such specifics of the laws of combat spoke to the matter of protecting non-combatants. Today’s laws of war find their authority and codification in ancient Jewish texts.

Arafat’s Trial For Crimes Against Humanity

There are two phases of bringing Arafat to trial. The first phase is to compile and publicize the evidence which will both serve to indict him. The second phase would be to produce a book formulated to be read by the lay public.
