Terrorist Responsible for Kedumim Deaths Killed:
On Wednesday the Israeli Defence Force [IDF] killed Daud Katuni, a wanted al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades senior member who was behind a suicide bombing that killed four people in Kedumim three months ago. The IDF has been operating in Nablus earlier in the week in a bid to apprehend suspects, following numerous alerts of plans to launch a terror attack in Israel from that town. During a night operation of special Golani and paratroop units in Nablus, IDF soldiers engaged in a fire exchange with local gunmen. No injuries were reported in the incident.
Navy Foils Weapons-Smuggling Attempt:
Early Thursday morning an Israeli Navy vessel opened fire on two swimmers, laden with arms and weapons, in the Mediterranean Sea. The two were attempting to smuggle weapons from Egypt into the Gaza Strip. Although verbal warnings were followed by warning shots, the swimmers continued to ignore them until the sailors opened fire directly. The smuggling swimmers had been spotted in forbidden waters where smugglers have attempted to transport arms in the past. One was hit by gunfire, but the second was too close to civilians. It appears that the sea is now a favored route for weapons smuggling.
Petition for the Temple Mount:
For nearly a decade, Islamic religious authorities have participated in the destruction and elimination of precious Jewish and Christian artifacts on the site of the first [Solomon's] and second Temples, the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This destruction continues to this day. Thousands of tons of earth, containing archaeological evidence dating back to the period of the Temple of Solomon, have been discarded. Found among the 'rubble' were ancient seals from a Priestly family, inscribed pottery fragments in Ancient Hebrew, Alter screens and broken columns from a fourth century Byzantine Church. Since the year 2000 the Muslim religious authority - the Waqf - has blocked all archaeological oversight of the Temple Mount. Instead, the Waqf is constructing Mosques on these sacred sites of Jews and Christians.
Representatives from "One Jerusalem" recently met with renowned Israeli archaeologists and discussed the extent of the damage. The facts are astounding. We urge you to sign the following Temple Mount Petition. The petition will be presented to President George Bush and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert. One Jerusalem Chairman Natan Sharansky has already gathered a great deal of media attention, when he announced the petition through major blog circuits.
Please sign this important petition (just 2-clicks!) and encourage others to do so as well.

Bat Ye'or's book "Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis" shows that Europe has succumbed to "dhimmitude" [the condition of servility and humiliation of Jews and Christians suffered under Muslim rule] and is waging a war against Israel in collaboration with the Arab League. Today Europe itself has succumbed to dhimmitude and is committing cultural suicide. Instigated by France, Europeans created the machinery for Europe's own demise more than 30 years ago. The Frence goal was to develop an alliance with the Muslim Arab countries that would endow Europe [especially France] with the power to rival the United States. This goal was pursued without official treaties, under the innocent-sounding name of the Euro-Arab Dialogue. More about Bat Ye'or and her book.
New Hebrew-English Speaking Doll:
The doll goes by the name of Sarah and is the first doll made to teach children Hebrew [or for Israeli children to learn English]. Produced by Language Littles, the Sarah doll says over twenty-five words and phrases, first in English and then Hebrew. What a great toy/learning tool. You can see how she works from their web site. The doll costs around $40.00 [USD], which is a small price for introducing your child to Hebrew and have something fun to play with at the same time.
