Gates Foundation Gave Money to "Palestinian" Authority:
Bill Gates is currently the largest philanthropist in the world. Up until recently his organization has dealt only with charitable donations concerning global health. Recently his organization provided most of the funds used to purchase the greenhouses from Gush Katif residents at a very low price, and were handed over to the "Palestinian" Authority [P.A.]. A representative from the foundation has confirmed that the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation contributed ten million dollars to the transfer purchase price. This donation was done outside the foundation's normal scope of global health, and evidently it was requested that all parties involved keep the details confidential. The quickly brokered fourteen million dollar deal [accomplished by James Wolfenston, former World Bank President] gave the P.A. the responsibility of the greenhouses. As soon as Israel completed the withdrawal the greenhouses were quickly looted and most of them completely destroyed. Those greenhouses that still exist are not up to par with the production of their previous Jewish owners, who alone have succeeded in producing bug free produce in Gaza. It is also reported that some of the Gaza Arab residents are asking USAID to rehire some of the expelled Jews to come back and assist.

P.L.O. permitted to stay in D.C.:
This week the United States of America [primarily the Bush Administration] gave a six-month waiver to the "Palestine" Liberation Organization [PLO] office to remain open in the U.S. It is important to note that these waivers have been applied ever since 1993, but this is the first time since the terrorist organization Hamas has taken control of the PLO. The Bush administration excuses this action stating that they must keep a useful channel open with PLO chairman Mahmoud Abbas [a.k.a. Abu Mazen - a participant in the 1973 Olympic terrorist murders in Munich - but then so was Yassir Arafat]. If the waiver had not been applied the PLO would no longer be allowed to access funds in US banks. It is also assumed that in order to keep the "Road Map" together both parties need to keep representatives accessible in Washington. It is under serious doubt that the PLO [or any representation there of] will ever be kicked out of D.C.

Secular Jews in Israel are the Minority:
The Central Bureau of Statistics study from 2002 to 2004 showed that Israeli Jews defined themselves as follows: Hareid-religious as 8%, Orthodox 9%, 39% as traditional, and the remainder of 44% as secular. This means that a total of 56% consider themselves [in some dimension] as religious. Most Israelis of European and North American origin [approximately 63%] consider themselves as secular while only about 33% from Asian origin consider themselves secular. Concerning the question of religious or not religious, [not considering denomination] 11% said they were very religious, 42% said they were religious, 21% said they were not very religious, and 18% said they were not religious. According to this study 81% of Israel's population is Jewish, 12% are Muslim, 3.5% are Christian, and 1.5% are atheist. A remaining 0.5% said they belong to other religions.

"Diet Potato" Grown in Israel:
Thirteen different western Negev [south western Israel] communities are growing "Vivaldi" potatoes. The potato's claim to fame is that it reportedly contains up to 38% less carbohydrates and up to half the calories of ordinary potatoes. It is being called the "diet potato" and is currently "all the rave" in Western Europe and Great Britain. The Vivaldi potato was originally developed by Lincolnshire [a UK-based company]. Nearly 40% of the crop is being exported to these countries and to Russia. The Negev currently is producing nearly 150,000 tons of potatoes because it is such a good climate. They actually have two seasons of growth for the potatoes. You may be thinking these potatoes are less tasty, but think again. According to Warshayshky [a quality control specialist at the regions research and development department], who conducted a blind taste test, the Vilvaldi potato came out on top.
