Americans Organize to Fight Further Withdrawal:
A number of Christian and Jewish groups in the US have announced the formation of an umbrella organization designed to lobby against currently acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's plan to continue withdrawal of Jewish communities from Judea and Samaria. At least part of their argument is that any withdrawal would be in opposition to the interests of the United States. "Olmert's plan means the destruction of the Jewish state. Judea and Samaria is part of Israel's biblical homeland. It borders Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and most other major Israeli cities. There is not a single doubt if Israel vacated this heartland it would be turned over to Islamic terror groups for use to attack Israel with missiles," said Susan Roth [pictured left], founder of the new umbrella organization, United Front for the Land of Israel. Roth continued, "Olmert's withdrawal would be a victory for worldwide Islamic terror. It would result in the formation of an al-Qaida/Islamic Jihad/Iranian-satellite state that would serve as a sanctuary for all kinds of terrorists. The withdrawal would be disastrous for America's war on terror, for Israel and for the Jewish people. We have come together to do everything we can to stop this withdrawal from happening."

Roth is also chairperson of the Eshet Chayil (Woman of Valor) Foundation, a Jewish activist and charity organization.

Elections in Israel Tuesday:
Even before former Prime Minister Ariel Sharon fell to a stroke [leaving him in a vegetative state] and Ehud Olmert [pictured right - center] became the acting Prime Minister, Israel has been anxiously awaiting elections. Olmert had joined Sharon's newly formed "Kadima" party and, evidently for the sake of party popularity, has since maintained the anti-faith posture of his predecessor bringing a horrifyingly ugly assault on the faithful citizens of Amona. Although the Likud party is the more conservative of the three, and although their candidate, Benjamin Natanyahu [pictured right - right], presents a considerably more "faith-friendly" platform, he has previously been Prime Minister of Israel and reneged on his previous political promises by giving away Hevron. We would like to think that we get what we vote for but that simply has not been the case in Israel. Prime Minister Sharon was elected by the public because he told them that he would NOT compromise with terrorists or give away any more of the land.

It seems evident that the answer is not in a Prime Minister but in a Messiah and King. Although it may not yet be time, do not despair. The hand of G-d is not short. He has not brought them back to the land with the intent to disperse them again and He is fully able to accomplish all that He has repeatedly stated He will do. Remember that He said that he would bring them [Israelis] back [to Israel] while they were yet unclean and then He would sprinkle them with clean water and they would be made clean [Ezekiel 36:25]. Please pray for the will of the L-rd to be done and for the faithful in the land to have the strength to stand strong and see the deliverance of our G-d.
