Church Purchases Playground Equiptment for Kedumim:
Fellowship Church of Casselberry, Florida (USA) made a substantial donation of $10,000+ to the community of Kedumim in the region of Samaria (Israel), for the purpose of purchasing playground equipment. The congregation purposely sought Kedumim mayor, Daniella Weiss, for what she thought would be a gift to her community that would be a source of encouragement to the residents. Ken Garrison, pastor of the congregation, told us, "We are particularly interested in contributing to Kedumim at this specific time. The prophet Jeremiah, in a time when the threat appeared even more ominous than today, redeemed (bought) a field in his hometown. His purpose for doing this was to demonstrate the prophetic word that God's people would return to God's land and buy houses, fields, and vineyards again (Jeremiah 32:1-15). This must have appeared foolish to those without faith. Soon the Babylonians would destroy the temple and the city, depose the king, and take the people into captivity. But Jeremiah was absolutely confident of God's purpose for the people and the land of Israel. We at Fellowship Church are confident that nothing like this is going to happen to Judea and Samaria today. We believe that the God of Israel will cause His people to prevail in this current struggle, and that Kedumim and other communities like her will continue to prosper and grow while those who seek to destroy these communities will perish and disappear from the scene. We believe this so strongly that we want to help "redeem a field" as a testimony to what God is doing in the land."
Editor's note: How would US President George W. Bush (professing to be a "born-again Christian") respond if literally thousands of churches did likewise?
Majority of Americans Oppose Disengagement:
According to a recent professional poll, nearly two-thirds of Americans are opposed to the disengagement plan. Conducted last week for the Zionist Organization of America (ZOA) by McLaughlin & Associates, it sampled 1,000 Americans from all religions. The poll identified that 63 percent of Americans oppose the Israeli government's plan to force more than 9,000 Jews out of their homes this summer and give Gaza and northern Samaria to the Palestinian Authority. Sixty three percent, as opposed to five percent, believe that Jerusalem should remain under Israeli sovereignty, and not "Palestinian" sovereignty. Fifty percent against twenty eight percent believe that 'the Gaza plan sends a message that Arab terrorism is being rewarded.' According to ZOA president Morton Klein, the results "expose the myth that Americans support disengagement." More info
The Worldwide Rally:
More than 40 rallies are being held at the same time throughout the world on July 19th with the intention of shouting "NO!" to the forced removal of Jews from their homes and the giving of these homes to terrorists. Although the events will be held in major cities such as Neve Dekalim, Homesh, London, Paris, Melbourne, Sao Paulo, Montreal, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Toronto, San Diego, and San Francisco, the primary focal demonstrations will be in Tel Aviv and New York. The Tel Aviv event will be simultaneously broadcast by satellite worldwide. Another major broadcast will be held in Manhattan at Times Square between 41st and 42nd Streets. New York organizers expect to draw thousands of Americans who strongly oppose Israeli Prime Minister Sharon's disengagement plan. Initially the plan, scheduled to begin August 15th, intends to expel and transfer of 8,000 Jewish residents from their homes and businesses in Gaza.

Should We Be Surprised?:
This is not a faith report, but I am sure it will shed some light on the current world situation. By now you have probably looked at the photo (right) and thought to yourself, "that's an interesting 'Photoshop' job." Although it is a photographic manipulation, it is only because the ship has been renamed. It seems that our current Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, previously worked for the Chevron Oil Company and did such a nice job for them that they named an oil tanker after her. Larger Photo & More Info | Ship Stats We have known from early on that President George W. Bush has serious oil investments and interests, but now we can see more clearly how interests in "oil" are especially effecting U.S. relations with Israel. Let us not forget that the suicide terrorists in the September 11th attacks were Saudi Arabians. Let us also not forget that the "Roadmap for Peace," from which the disengagement plan has been derived, is a byproduct of the "Saudi Prince Peace (Piece) Plan." In our time this may be the clearest picture of the "Whore of Babylon," who the prophet Daniel identified as international commerce, being driven by Arab/Islamic Oil.
