    • A study guide that corresponds to the Bible reading assignment (requires free registration).

CORE REQUIREMENTS


TORAH 1 "The Beginning"
Genesis, Job, and Hebrew language skills. Training in the use of aids for the Hebrew language and word studies; historical overview; detailed analysis of Genesis: the creation, the fall, the suppression of evil, the covenant with Abraham, the promised seed, and the beginning of national Israel. (3 credit hours)

TORAH 2 "The Law"
Exodus through Deuteronomy. Historical overview; analysis of the ministry of Moses, the exodus, the tabernacle, Israel's covenant; Messiah foreshadowed, and the Law and sacrifices. (3 credit hours)

HISTORY 1 "The Judges"
Joshua through 1 Samuel 12. Historical overview; the conquest of Canaan; allocation of the land; the Judges of Israel; cultural problems with the Canaanites; survey of Ruth. (3 credit hours)

HISTORY 2 "The Kings"
1 Samuel 13 through 2 Chronicles. Historical overview; the United Kingdom; David the King of Israel; the Kings of Israel (Northern Kingdom); the Kings of Judah (Southern Kingdom); the office of Prophet. (3 credit hours)

PROPHETS 1 "Early Warning Prophets"
Historical overview; major prophetic themes; personal sketches of the Prophets; Isaiah's servant theme; survey of Isaiah, Joel, Micah, Elijah, and Elisha. (3 credit hours)

PROPHETS 2 "Prophets Of Judgment"
Historical overview; major prophetic themes; message to the Northern Kingdom; message to the Southern Kingdom; understanding the dispersion; survey of Jeremiah, Amos, Hosea, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Jonah, Nahum, and Obadiah. (3 credit hours)

PROPHETS 3 "Prophets Of The Dispersion"
Historical overview; major prophetic themes; God's throne and glory; understanding Daniel and Revelation; prophecy of the nations; survey of Ezekiel, Daniel, and the Revelation. (3 credit hours)

PROPHETS 4 "Prophets Of The Return "
Historical overview; major prophetic themes; the return of a remnant to the Land; the second Temple; anti-Semitism; Jewish history and history between the testaments; survey of Zechariah, Haggai, Malachi, Esther, Ezra, and Nehemiah. (3 credit hours)

NEW COVENANT GOSPELS "The Messiah"
Matthew through Acts. Historical overview; training in the use of aids for the Greek language; sequence of Jesus' ministry, the Kingdom of God; Jesus the Word; the early Jerusalem Church; the message beyond Jerusalem. (3 credit hours)

NEW COVENANT LETTERS "The Church "
Romans through Jude. A study of the letters to the early churches; detailed analysis of three generations of witnesses; consideration of special topics including the mystery of Messiah, the new creation, Law and grace, and spiritual gifts; post Biblical history. (3 credit hours)

WORLD HISTORY "A Biblical Interpretation of World History"
A study of world history from a Biblical perspective. Consideration of God's progressive plan throughout history in the context of developing civilization. Early River civilizations and the quest for Empires are considered. The evolution of humanism from ancient Greece to modern societies. Outline of biblical prophecies in terms of God's activities today and in the future. (3 credit hours)


PERSONAL DISCIPLESHIP
A study of the practical issues of personal discipleship. Course is conducted on a one-on-one (instructor-student) basis. (6 credit hours)


HEBRAIC ROOTS "Development Of Christianity"
The covenant basis of both Israel and the Church is developed. The historical separation of the Church from Israel is studied. Doctrinal subjects developed to maintain the separation are discussed. The transition of the vision of the Church from Hebraic orientation to a Constantinian orientation is studied. The beliefs and practices that must be implemented for believers to re-establish Hebraic/Biblical roots are discussed. (3 credit hours)

GEOGRAPHY/ARCHELOGY OF LAND OF ISRAEL "Biblical Geography and Archeology"
Study of the geography of Israel during the Biblical Era. Detailed map work from each major era. Major archeological discoveries that confirm Scripture are discussed. (3 credit hours)

CHURCH HISTORY
First Century church, development of the catholic [universal] church — 110 AD to Nicea — Nicea to Augustine, the imperial church, the Reformation, the modern church. (3 credit hours)

BIBLE PROPHECY
An overview of prophetic interpretation (Christian and Jewish) is considered. The Biblical development of various lines of prophecy is studied. The five major themes of Biblical prophecy are developed. An interpretation of present day fulfillment is discussed. (3 credit hours)

JEWISH HISTORY
A consideration of Jewish history from the time of Abraham to the present. Consideration of the periods of the Patriarchs, the Exodus, Kingdom of Israel, the Babylonian dispersion, the Roman dispersion, the development of the Talmud, conflicts in dispersion, the modern Zionist movement, and the reappearance of the State of Israel. (3 credit hours)

CONTEMPORARY BIBLICAL ZIONISM
'Social' Zionism vs 'Biblical' Zionism, the settlement movement, struggle for the Temple Mount, the Third Temple, influence on future Israeli governments, God's redemptive plan. (3 credit hours)

TEMPLE STUDIES
The Tabernacle, the first Temple, the second Temple, prospects for a third Temple, relationship of a third Temple to the first and second Temples, importance of the Temple Mount, the Living Temple, the New Jerusalem of the age to come. (3 credit hours)
